In order to increase the availability of
training to healthcare providers and front-line health workers worldwide, the SickKids Centre for Global Child Health has developed the SickKids Public Health Nutrition
Course (SPHNC) and the SickKids Global Child Health Course (SGCHC). By
leveraging the expertise and global networks of SickKids, these free, open
access online courses provide participants with exposure to key issues in
global child health and public health nutrition, with an emphasis on maternal and child health. These innovative and
dynamic courses are designed primarily
for healthcare professionals, but also students and individuals, especially
those based in low- and middle-income countries seeking to learn more about
global child health and nutrition, while striving to keep abreast of current
evidence in a globalized world.
